flute soup

Posted on Mar 21st, 2008 by margot : sound transponder margot

Here’s a video of me playing along with music in the kitchen (something I enjoy doing because it has the best acoustics in the house.) The recording doesn’t really do the way it sounds justice.  Soon I will have a real camera & microphone :)

The track I’m playing along with is from the compilation “Gruen024″ at www.stadtgruenlabel.net (look under “releases”) the track is “Sprenkler” (lots of nice music at this site!)

warning: this post contains a Country melody

Posted on Jan 11th, 2008 by margot : sound transponder margot
My flute broke, which is sad to me (especially as I need to wait a bit to raise funds to get it fixed) however it's making me explore other instruments, which is awesome!

Another blessing in disguise...

the business paradigm I choose

Posted on Nov 22nd, 2007 by margot : sound transponder margot
In my career, I am now in the position to choose the clients/colleagues I want to work with.

My preferences:

transparency/honesty (all stakeholders know what is going on)
positive legacy work (the ripple effect of what we are creating has a positive legacy in the world)
quality (quality artistic work by genius specialists, neither rushed nor cheap)
friendly (everyone is fun to work with, friendly, and forgiving)

While some like the intrigue/excitement of the chess game of business politics, I choose to work differently.

However, if I get dragged there I can engage it (watch out!)

Love!
Margot
